Hey Bagheera friends,

A friend and me are resoring a Bagheera type 2 (1978). We are returning it completly back to original. The colour is Bleu es Palmador, the bumpers need to be Black. Now I had a different opinion then my friend, he says that the bumper was metalic black. I however say that only the "X" had metalic bumpers in the metalic clour of the body ( silver, black and biege griffon) and that on this type the bumpers need to be (mat) black

So before we paint the bumper can anybody tell us the original combi?

For me, the bumpers are black in every case, but only on the models 1979/80 there was not on 1978

Thanks for the reply. The black colour is it in metallic paint or in "normal" paint?

Not metallic but not normal at all.
It is a satinated colour, close to mat.
It is a textured paint, leaving a finnish with a volume, not flat

Interrestingly, they were 4 colours of these bumpers, each going with some body colours.
Yours should have the code 8341.

May I encourage you to contact Aiemac. He published a leaflet with each correct combination, Body paint, matching interior, bumper....
