You're right Aiemac!!
I did some research and i think it's a plate from a rancho and I think it came together with the engine, this was a very popular way in Poland for skipping some rules and taxes concerning buing a car in another countries ( to buy a car without the engine or just take it out before crossing the border), maybe this would explain the mixed up gearchange, also when I drove the car for a moment the gears seemed too short for a theoretical topspeed of 190km/h - I suppose the rancho should have shorter gears ( I don't know really, just thinking )

Sorry, I can't say anything on that : The plate is not of a Bagheera.
Might be coming of a Rancho or a Murene ???

Thanks bagheera.be!
I contacted Piotr sometime ago ,unfortunately I was told that he sold his baggy I'll try to track down the guy he sold it to.
As for other news : I found a number on the body - I hope this is the right one:
I tried to indentify the car and I think it's a bagheera S - any better ideas??
I got the extra engine, in fact I managed to get two - unfortunately without carbs -witch I need the most, but still it's a good source for parts - perhaps anyone would like to trade carb/carbs for an engine??

Hi guys,
I started to disassemble my baby, and it truly came out a big puzzle, with a lot of rancho and horizon parts, the more I dig the more weird things I find.
For example - the previous owner GLUED (!) the wheelarches to the bumpers, I cannot possibly think of the cause
notice the awfull stripes on rear windows and the lowered rear bumper
Anyway I decided to do a full rebuild (the damage on the frame is too big to leave the body on) - I will have to fabricate lots of things that are impossible to return to their original state, for example the whole dashboard was "custom" made to accomodate alfa romeo style clocks and it's awfull at the moment ](./images/smilies/eusa_wall.gif) (i will try to post a picture soon)
I also thought of changing the colour scheme to black ( metallic+pearl ) exteriour and black/red or red leather interiour. At first it seemed that a fully original rebuild was possible, but now I know it's not, there are no aftermarket parts in Poland, fortunately thanks to AIEMAC my bagheera will have a set of double webers Because i will have to change a couple of things,I will try to make it look like it was race tuned back in the days. I'm already gathering tuning parts from the past. Please feel free to comment my ideas ,of course I'm not putting any skirts or funny wings on the car - any mods I will try to make with good taste and up-to-date styling
