Hi,
I browsed the forum using the Babelfish translator and I think I understood that one member was looking for a DeLorean.
There is one for sale in Sweden now.
http://www.blocket.se/vi/11973151.htm?ca=7_s
Unfortunately it is painted.
The seller is asking 12,000 Euro for the car.
Regards,

Stig

Hi, i'm looking for one for a long time.
A painted Delorean is most of the time, a crashed hidden car.
But the price is attractive.

Many thanks.

Hi Bullit,
The seller claims that it was painted already when it was new. But it should really be unpainted to be a real DeLorean.
Here is a quick translation of the important parts of the ad.
1981
Good condition.
Chassie unrusted.
Painted when new 1981
Paint in good condition.
36,000 km.
Have been standing for some time but drivable.
Interior partly worn.

+46 708-302 760
The seller is in Kalmar which is about 2.5 hours drive from Copenhagen over the bridge to Malmö in Sweden and then straight to the east across Sweden.
Let me know if you want me to contact the seller on your behalf.
Lasse on this list is living not very far from where this car is maybe he could have a look if you ask him.

Hi Bullit!
This Delorean was imported to Sweden 1989 and has had seven owners since then. It did not pass the latest vehicle inspection. You are not allowed to drive it before it has passed a new inspecion. The following remarks were made in april 2005:
Right front position light out of order
Exhaust system leaking
Signal out of order
Windscreen washer out of order
inefficient parking brake
Rubber protection on steering damaged
Rubber protections on driveshaft damaged
rear left break sticks
speedometer out of order

This car has chassis number DT26T9BD001123

Hi Lasse,
I must replace the toner in my fax machine :)
Bullit,
I am sorry I did not check with the registry before posting.
It really sounds like this would be a really bad deal.
Start running away from it fast.

Stig

Stig, many thanks for all of these informations.
The problem is that i can't imagine to buy a car without make an
inspection by myself and Sweden is very very far and expensive.
I have informed the Delorean french club. I will let you know if
somebody is interesting...
But again, many many thanks for the information.
You're the best.
Don't hesitate to contact me again if you have other information
concerning this car or others.
Cheers

Thierry
