#07 EOS/P-SIX + elektronika -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Because I?ve recently bought some lenses for the P-Six, I?ve come up with an idea.. what if I could make an adapter from EOS to P-six with electronics on board. Here?s how it went. STAGE ONE I disassembled the electronics from the fotosniper ? precisely from the lens model: Canon 35-80 4.5 ? 5.6 I was wondering how to fit the circuit into the existing m42/P-six adapter STAGE TWO I figured out it would be to complicated and time consuming. That?s why I had another idea, I decided to make my own adapter using the bottom part from Canon 35-80 with the electronics and a connecting ring for the P-six (14mm diameter) It?s the bottom part fron an AF lens with EOS fitting. You put the electronics inside, on the second picture You?ve got the mounting ring for the P-Six After carefully examining it, It came out that the connecting ring could be ?squeezed? in. I had to grind off a bit of plastic and make special grooves so the ring could fit. I took the dimensions from the original m42/p-six adapter connected with an EOS/m42 adapter. Length of he set is 41 mm. the edge of the adapter is 2 mm, so the overall length is 39 mm. This is the dimension I considered usefull. The ring Has an overall lenght of 24 mm. So the p-six fitting is 10 mm. The bottom from 35-80 has 22 mm. So after all 7 mm were left. Using that 7mm it is possible to fit the connecting ring to the botom of the AF lens. Above the bottom with electronics mounted, after grinding, with the connecting ring. STAGE THREE The whole thing is assembled so one part fit sinto another and locks with a twist. Here?s how it looks: And so a one-of-a-kind adapter was created EOS/P-six with electronics, dzięki thanks to this we have a confirmation of focus in a Canon camera wit an EOS fitting together with middle format lenses such as Pentacon Six. I can use it with any P-six lens. The Best thing is that I can disassemble it and hook it back to the fotosniper.Belo You have some sample photos made with lenses with the adapter on. Carl Zeiss SONNAR 2.8/180 mm Carl Zeiss FLEKTAGON 4/50 mm Below I?ll put some pics to show the effects of Rusing my adapter EOS 300D + Carl Zeiss Sonnar 4/300 mm I hope it helped a little bit - if You have some further questions -write |

Before leaving, I wanted to thank you. It's actually not what I was looking for. I was misleaded by the fotosniper word. In my case a simple adaptator ring will do |
