I will have to Re-tread the holes to fit 2 new bigger Bolts and then when the bracket is tightened it will keep the Finger in the Notch. And maybe that will solve my problems. I will also have a look at the Lever Adjustment. Some day I will have a good look at the whole underside of the car cause I haven't yet. At the moment I have 2 Cable Ties holding the bracket up and holding the Finger in the Notch. In the picture the Green and Blue are the Cable ties and the Red Arrow is the direction that the bracket falls when there is no Cable Ties.


I noticed when looking at the Linkage that there was a Rubber Bushing at the Pink area in the picture that had split and was held on with a Cable Tie. Is there a Rubber Bush Kit that can be gotten for the Gear Linkage?

Rather than a rubber bushing, I would call this a kind of thick foam.
I don't know if it's still possible to find a new one.

Last time went explored HB parts, we were able to look at everything but I don't remember having seen these.

I have not seen this foam bush on any of my cars, must have fallen off before I got them. Am I right to guess that the only function it has is to stop dirt from getting into the ball link?
If so it should be possible to use any oil resistant foam and cut a bush of.

Yes, that's the only function and the ones I have are also pretty worned out.
