This is on eBay.de at the moment and I really need this part. My Baghy front section is un-fixable I think. So much extra fibreglass has been added to it that I'm affraid there could be crash damage if I cut the added firberglass off. I have a good front bumper and new front indicator to put on it now and I need an original front end.

My problem is, it's says Worldwide shipping but I think in the description it says that I would have to organize the shipping myself. That sucks!
Anyway, who would I contact about shipping this item to Ireland?
Can this part of the Bagheera be separated into 3 pieces so it can be packaged flatter?
And why do all the good bits always go on eBay at Christmas, when I've no money? :D

Thanks Guys.

the guy sucks - he started about 2 years ago and in the first time he was bidding on his own auctions by 2 "ghost"-accounts.
nevertheless me too i've bought some "garbage" from him.

the big problem i see: how do you think to get the front to ireland?! even inside germany its diificult to transport such a part. but to get it shipped to ire ... i can't imagine.

Yeah it would be very hard. That's why I was wondering if the front section can be separated into 3 parts but the Guy just quoted me ?100 for postage of the Series 1 seats he has on eBay now too. ?100?? No Way! The seats themselves are 'Buy It Now' ?100. He can keep them. They not even in good condition.

My problem is I'm desperate for parts for my car to make it as close to original as I can. I really need the front off a Bagheera Series 1. I'll never find one in Ireland. My Baghy could be the only Series 1 in Ireland for all I know. I have a feeling some day I will have to drive around Europe in a big van to find the parts I need :)

Hi Bob,
Difficult problem :?
I know that Brittany Ferries are running between Roscoff in France and the south of Ireland.
Maybe if you could make friends with someone onboard then they could put a front end in a corner somewhere.
But then there is the problem of getting a front end to Roscoff.
Best of luck.
And a Merry Christmas to all of you :D

Stig

Don't wait any quality from an ebay seller. You will get it damaged.

Sorry Kris but did you just offer me the front of a Bagheera???

It would still be very hard to get it to Ireland though but it would be brilliant :)

hi Bob, on the Belgium matra forum there was a Dutch guy named Ronny, he has the front of a bagh 1 for free, also 2 doors and some little stuff...all for free because he has to clean-up his barn for some reason.
never the less, you still have to get these pieces to Ireland, and thats not gonna be an easy job...

Your bagh/and pieces maybe rare in Ireland, but what about the UK ?

Hi Vollegaaz, well I got my Baghy in the UK and soon after that there was another full Baghy series 1 on ebay but it was taken off before the sale ended. I was going to bid on it and if I won it, use it for the parts I need for mine but I don't know what has happened to it now. Other than that I have never seen anything for a Series 1 in the UK. They must be very rear over there too.

What is the web address of that Matra forum?

You still after one Bullitt???
There are around 70 known DeLoreans in Ireland and even some that never left Ireland since new. They guys on the Irish DeLorean Site believe there to be at least 100 DeLoreans in Ireland. There's a few in Dublin. I was on the site a few weeks ago and someone on there found one abandoned in a car park. Ireland is probably a good place to look. You should check out the Web Site. They have a forum on there too. I'm not sure the name of the site myself.

When I drive my Baghy through the streets of Dublin City at night people sometimes say, "Wow, a DeLorean". I don't mind them saying that myself. DeLoreans are amazing and want one too.
