Just a thought. I was trying to read through next years events for Bagheeras in the Petites annonces section and although I can kind off get the jist of what is happening I think it would be good if someone could write a small piece on the events in the International section. Internet Translators are not that good really. I know you are probably thinking, "What do you care? You live in Ireland!" but I would like to maybe bring my Bagheera to France or wherever next year for an event. I don't want my Bagheera to be the only Bagheera I see for the rest of my life :D

hi bob. happy new year!
i think you'r talking bout the section "au comptoir" what means something like "at the bar" - "petites annonces is the parts'n'sales section.

in fact there are three big events - Spa in belgium, lac de madine in the east of france and the baggy's 35' anniversary anywhere in the south of geneva.

Hi Bob,
Best whishes at the start of the new year :)
It would be very nice indeed to have a calendar in English also.
The flights these days are not so expensive so it might pe possible for us that live at the outskirts of Europe to attend even if it is not by Bagheera.
Regards,
Stig

PS. How is your clutch doing DS.

Do you know when theese events take place? I plan to have my Bag on the road this summer and it would be nice to go to some meeting.

Where can one find information about theese events?

You would also wonder if the events will really occur ... and what it is.
- Spa Francorchamps.
This is organized by Peugeot Automobiles.
We already joined this event in 2005, 2006 and 2007 ( one of us also went there in 2004). So it's most likely that the event occur.
What is it ?
A day on the best track in Europe. Allways been very sunny. Several posts with plenty of pictures and movies.
This year we will organize our own BBQ and facilities there.
- La Madine
This is yearly organised by a big oldtimer club in France (east of the country, close to german, belgian borders)
It's a weekend meeting around a big lake.
Free entrance to anybody and stay as long as you want for the weekend.
I never went there but some of us did and as far as I understood, It's always sunny, friendly, even for kids. And hundreds, thousands oldtimers of any types are gathering.
Every other activity has to be self organised and I understood that some of us will take the initiative there. There are some attractions but the quality of last year singer was not appealing to me.
The matra passion 35 bagheera birthday
I will not comment on this potential event since I have my own opinion about it

Kris, Didn't you plan to organise something in the Kassel Area ? The pictures you shown were displaying really attractive scenery :)

in fact i was thinking about making a little familiar event here. for the french bagheeriens it's unluckily a bit far away ... in fact paris is 800kms, lyon is about 900kms. nantes is even 1.2ookms and i d'ont even tell you bordeaux :D
but for german and nederlands and scandinavian bagheerians that could be interesting - hamburg is 330kms, danish border is 470kms, amsterdam about 400, munich the same and berlin even less than 400kms.

and the landscape is really really wonderful here.

And Ireland, 1377 km away
All this info is great, thanks guys. I would love to go to something next year. That Spa Francorchamps would be cool.

@Stig: I still have to fix my clutch. I have the part I need but the weather is so cold & wet. My Bagheera is parked on grass at the moment cause I can't move it. It's on a slight hill so if it rolls down to the bottom of the garden I'll never get it back up so I have to leave it there and I don't like walking around in wet muck when I trying to fix a car. I will do it soon though. I miss driving my Bagheera.
