A traduire ... le seul moyen d'identifier la coucou avec le numero c'est d'avoir la carte de garantie d'origine de la voiture
noté le "C" après le numero de série.

Stig Abrahamson a écrit: Hi, Aiemac your car is really very nice!! I have just one more question. The inside of my doors are in white and they have not been painted as you can see on the photos. Do you think that they have been remade in white ? I can also confirm that the correct steering wheel came with the car but it is very sad. It has the gold colour but has been painted black at the rim. Stig
A traduire

To be translated
The door pannels have been remade. Orginaly, they are "gold" ( that's the name of the light brown skai that your have on some panels), as is the dashbord.
The gold skai is available by HB (the part dealer), for the white skai, I also have a place. I've also find the carpet. With a little glitch. The carpet I've find is of the correct colour but not having loops.
I realy thing that this car must be saved

Hi again,
Thanks all of you for all the information. It is really very nice to get in touch with such friendly people.
I will definately try to save the car.
The first thing I will do is to make an inventory list so that I can see what is missing.
I think I have all the mechanical parts as I have most pieces from another Bagheera (number 4) in stock.
The BIG challenge will be to recreate the interior. I will check if I can find a solvent to clean off the white paint as it would be nice to reuse some original parts.
When it is clear that it will be possible to fix the interior then I can strip off the shell and start working on the chassie.
I read about someone who had galvanized his chassie after repairing it.
This may actually be simpler than painting do you have any idea here.
As a conclusion I can say that it will be a lot of work and that I will rely on you for advice and help in getting materials.
Thanks again for all help.
Regards,
Stig

Hi Stig,
I did galvanized the chassis of one of my Bagheera and I'm not the only one.
It works perfectly but that's for the future.
In order to clean off the paint, 2 things
1) I believe that it must be in the July 1990 issue of Classic & Sportscar that I read a story of the restorer of a Honda s800 who had to clean the vinil seats of his car onto which a pot of paint was thrown in the past. He claimed to have successfully removed any traces of paint with Swarfega hand cleaner.
2) I also believe that the Courrège white skay is easely damaged. From the repair manual there is a note about that :
Citer: Some Bagheera Courreges were eequiped with triming material who has a grey foam glued to the reverse side. These trimming materials react to cleaning agents and so it's important to follow the instructions when cleaning the seats (apparently all the white skai parts, not the gold ones) Use a barely humid sponge impregnated with soaped water or an amoniacal product diluted to 10 % in water, or Teepol ( don't know what it is) diluted in the same proportions
I don't believe it will be easy to save these parts.

I will try to find something which is not so strong as Acetone but it is very effective. I tested with alchohol but it did not solve the paint.
The Acetone will probably leave a dull surface but it can be polished with a vinyl polish. It can of course not be used on skai which has a soft foam backing as it will destroy the foam.
A paint diluter such as Thinner should work but is probably even more aggresive to the skai.
Do you have any better ideas ?

Stig

That's not only a 1290 cc Serie 1 Courrèges...
That's a German model of the model year 1975 Courrèges...
A specific detail can be seen on the pictures.
So now, Lars, you need to give us more details and speak about your other rares cats
